Both our sales and artwork teams are available every step of the way to answer any questions you might have.
Over the years, Pack Plus Converting has become the preferred choice of numerous gourmet food, snack, beverage and non-food manufacturers when it comes to custom packaging. At Pack Plus, we specialize in custom film lamination and custom design printing. We apply reverse-print rotogravure technology to create the best quality possible for your custom designs. Gravure cylinders are made from copper-plated steel and are chromed to produce a harder, more wear-resistant surface. The high quality of these materials ensures that your cylinder charges are a one-time only investment. Despite the superior characteristics of these cylinders, it is our goal to make custom packaging affordable for everyone. We keep our cylinder prices low to help you stay within your not-so-flexible budget.
Our reverse-print method provides great protection of your packaging design. Since the ink is protected between the laminated materials, it will not scratch or smear after production, thus giving you a vibrant and beautiful finished package. All of the inks used are trapped within the layers of material, which protects food products from coming into contact with any ink substance.
Our state-of-the-art printing presses are able to print up to 8 colors, both process and spot colors. These multi-color machines allow for great flexibility when designing a package. Matte as well as combo (matte and glossy) finishes are also available.
The printing capabilities that we employ give you great flexibility and versatility when designing your package. We are dedicated to assisting you and guiding you through the printing process and our in-house graphic team will help to ensure the best quality of your design will be reproduced. Die lines and templates can be provided to your graphic designer for layout reference. A true-to-size prototype proof will be supplied to you to confirm size, style, text copy, and color(s) prior to mass production.
The approximate lead-time for pre-formed products is 8-10 weeks and roll stock film is 7-9 weeks from the date we receive a signed proof and confirmed purchase order. Lead-times are based on ocean freight shipment since all manufacturing is completed overseas. If you wish to receive your order sooner, air shipment is available at your expense. It typically reduces the lead-time by approximately 3 weeks. Please contact our experienced staff today for your free consultation and quote.
